Engineer by trade. Human by choice.
I build tools for people who give a damn about the world.

NOÉ — Open-source event platform

Main project · 5+ years · 4000+ hours

Lead developer of NOÉ, a platform built for associations, festivals and collectives to manage events, volunteers, schedules and registrations. React, Node.js, MongoDB. From architecture to shipping to user support — built and maintained over four years, used by 60+ events across France and beyond.

Freelance work

Freelance development

Websites, apps, and custom tools for clients who care about quality. From landing pages to full-stack products — I propose and ship. My experience with NOÉ taught me versatility, and I won't disappear after delivery.

DJ Baby Djules

DJ — 𝔹𝕒𝕓𝕪 𝔻𝕁𝕦𝕝𝕖𝕤

From house to hard groove, to techno to trance, with a delicious pinch of latin grooves — if it moves people, I'll play it. Why "Baby"? To remind me to never stop being curious and always keep improving.

The Honest DJ Library Manager

The Honest DJ Library Manager

A tool I built for myself because messy DJ libraries are a nightmare. Then released it for the people. Free, open-source. Still a draft project.

The human behind the keyboard

Who is Jules?

I'm a fullstack engineer with a CS degree from INSA Rennes and an MSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. I've shipped software for a large sustainable energy monitoring player, built logistics tools for an innovative cooperative, and spent the rest of my time on open-source and climate tech — with a 15-month detour through Latin America somewhere in the middle.

For five years I've been the main developer behind NOÉ — an open-source event platform used by festivals and associations across France. That means shipping features with near-zero budget, making architectural calls solo, and keeping real users happy — not a sandbox project. I've learned the best technical decisions aren't always the most elegant; they're the ones the team can maintain, users can understand, and the project can survive.

I've always believed the best engineers are also curious humans — people who have done things outside the IDE. This shows up in the software I build: readable, empathetic, designed for real use.

I care about where technology goes and who it serves. If you're building something for the climate, for communities, or for the open web — let's talk.
